KaranaThe prayers you know.
The meaning you were never given.
Karana is a mobile app for daily Hindu practice.
How it works
The Mahabharata, the Gita, and more, broken into guided lessons a few minutes long. No lesson plan to follow — open the app and the next piece is already there.

Inside the app
Read however you like, sit with a guided timer, and answer for what you actually understood.
Pick a chapter from the contents, or drop straight into Focus Mode and keep going.

A breathing timer with soft instruction, not just a countdown.

A quiz at the end of every story, so it sticks instead of just scrolling past.
From us, personally
We built Karana because all three of us grew up the same way: reciting prayers we could not translate, keeping fasts we could not explain, and nodding along at festivals whose reasons lived in a book none of us had read. The tradition was never the problem. The distance to it was.
So we started writing that path back, verse by verse, festival by festival, in language we ourselves want at eighteen. Karana is still small and still ours in a very direct way — we read every message that comes in. If you join the list below, you're not joining a mailing list so much as you're meeting three people building something they wish they'd had.
Thank you for being early.
